Football vs Baseball
We are living in a country where sports are constantly being talk and discuss about in both television and radio. Two of well-known and possibly most watched sports here in America are Football and Baseball. Both of these sports have brought so much revenue to their respective franchises. They both play in giant stadium with thousands of fans roaring and cheering for their teams. Their rules and regulations are quite different from one another. Football is playing in a one hundred yards field with two field goal posts on each end of the field. The ends of both sides are called end-zones. The objective is to hand carrying the ball into the end zone of the apposing team. Players can use hands to throw and catch the ball; balls can also be kicked by both punter and kickers. The whole football game is played in four fifteen minute quarters. In contrary, baseball is played for nine innings and can extend to extra innings if necessary. The objective of baseball is to complete the full run around all four bases. Similar to football, the quarterback in baseball is called pitcher. However as opposed to football where quarterback’s task is to distribute the ball to his receivers; pitcher is doing his best to prevent his competitors from hitting the ball. In conclusion each sport plays different however they all require special skills and athleticism.
