Viet Nam Legal System
Viet Nam’s legal system works much like that in America. Wrongdoers
will put into jail or pay penalty if convicted. There are two types of trial in Viet Nam, Civil trial and criminal trial. Civil trial in Viet Nam consists of a judge, lawyers from both sides, plaintiff and defendant(s). Plaintiff’s lawyer is a person who presents all evident necessary to convict the defendant. Another lawyer is absolving for defendant and does
whatever it takes to free their clients. Criminal trial consists of a judge, two prosecutors and defendant lawyer(s). Legal system in my country doesn’t have juror. That’s why all decision concentrates in the judge. Local residents may attend the trial however they don’t have a say or decision on the trial.
